Glasvegas signs with Columbia

Phillip Hong 23 April, 2008

"Glasvegas", the critically acclaimed band that captured indie airwaves in
cities across North America, has signed with Columbia Records according to
Notorious Promotion and Marketing.

The Scottish group is best known to airwaves closer to home for their
haunting song, "Daddy's Gone". Airplay with stations across North America
had apparently contributed to the good news.

A spokesperson from Notorious Promotion and Marketing remarked that a full
album is expected to be released sometime later in the year.
