This suburban Buffalo establishment is right down by Interstate 90,
not too far a drive from the Peace Bridge. Serving American fare in a casual, friendly
way. |

First thing I notice is how swift my waiter was. Although it took a
little delay to get seated, he was a little quick to ask what I wanted for dinner; the
service was very efficient. |

I ordered the Colossal Double Stack, which is quite literally
a burger with two voluptuous-looking beef patties layered with American cheese. Quite the
heart clogger! The portion size was more than immaculate if you crave good old red meat.
Even a fellow waiter seemed to be surprised that I dared to order such a hefty dish! |

The atmosphere was homely with plenty of families having Sunday
dinner. If you hear the chatter from tables close to you, you could even pick up on some
of the distinct accents Western New Yorkers are (in)famous for. Locals favouring the local
place... a good sign of quality. |

Would I drive 180 kms from the GTA for a good burger? Yes... and this
is the proof. |
