The Road to Romney

Jiggy Jaguar
January 18, 2012

Recently we saw the stepped up attacks on Mitt Romney and the mainstream, and in some cases the conservative media. Mitt has been attacked by everyone and continues to just steam roll ahead; why? He is next in line and guess what - he could be revealed to be Hitler/Bin Laden/et cetera all rolled into one. He is still the nominee and will steam roll to the spot next to Obama.

Mitt has sold out his soul and all and now he'll be next in line. I have changed my view on Ron Paul, but he have to sell out his principles to become the next next in line? Mitt could not get any traction last time and hell I liked him then. Mitt could not get elected because of his faith but now it's not a big deal like Obama being black was for the liberals.

My view on Mitt is he is basically a place holder for 2016. I hate to admit it, the big guns are coming out next time.

Mitt is in line and he is about to have the nurse call his number. Mitt is the chosen one for the Republican Party. I could care less if Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Young Turks and even Fox News and Sarah Palin could not stand and will not stand for Mitt to become the man. Mitt is going to be the man, since he has more money than anyone in the running. He's also got the know how to get past all the freaks and geeks that infest this party these days. I like Mitt or at least I liked the Mitt who was running in the last election cycle.

The Mitt Romney that ran in the last election cycle had some good ideas. The man debated well and had a good team around him. Mitt of the last election cycle wanted to run the USA like a business. We all saw what happened when Bush ran his business... he bankrupted everything and sold them. What happened to the USA after Bush was in power? I will stop you right there and tell you: Look around folks. Mitt Romney of this election cycle is not the same man as the last Mitt who was running.

The election of Obama made people like McCain and Sarah get all pissed off and start on a rampage. Rush Limbaugh and others went out and said, "don't work with Obama" and "let's make it our standing to make him fail". What did Mitt do? He went across the country and tried to find out why the Rs failed to elect someone to the White House. Mitt went out and tried to fix things but guess what happened here as a response? Talk radio and others ridiculed him for it and made him out to be a clown.

Guess what happened next?

Mitt went out and did much like McCain did when he started his run against Obama. McCain sold out just like Mitt has done. McCain wanted to be president so bad that after Bush swift boated his ass, McCain went out and kissed the ass of every religious right wing, freak and got people like Limbaugh and others to like him. McCain sold out and he towards the end got people to like him. However, McCain was screwed at some point and could not save his reputation. Mitt has done this same thing and now he is out getting people like The Tea Party to like him. Mitt has tried like mad to sell out and guess what, The Rs hate his arse because he's a Mormon among other things.

I have changed my view on Ron Paul, and I like the guy; he's not such a clown as he was back in the last election cycle. Ron Paul has some points and not the crazy nonsense you see on MSNBC and Fox News. Ron Paul warned us about the National Defense Authorization act and things like the SOPA act. Ron Paul has managed to get around the mainstream folks and get past all the crazies that have come along like Rick Perry and others. Ron Paul is now second in the race and if he did run as a Third Party, he could make some noise, not like Ross Perot noise, but he could make some noise.

My view on all this is that Mitt is not middle class and is not going to stand a chance in the run up to getting slapped around by Obama. The big gunned folks are getting saved for the next cycle, because once Obama gets elected he will do like Clinton did when he got elected he will finally get to change the country and fix stuff. However once this happens, the Rs will come in and say "this has got to change". What happens after is the Rs will run people like Sarah Palin, Chris Christie, among others who are heavy hitters in the Republican party. The Democrats will run people like Biden, Clinton, etc. And this could get very interesting next time around, because both parties will be trying to get it rolling, which means it's like a brawl for all news style.

Finally, let's look back here on Mitt. Mitt was likeable before he was a giant sellout and I am hoping that next time around we'll get someone with both liberal and conservative views that are not sold out to the liberal move on dot org or conservative folks like Rush and Hannity. I would like to finally see someone stand on their own. Back when Gore/Bush ran, it was who could please both sides until they got into the White House. Then it was Kerry and Bush still trying to sell out to both sides. Finally we had the kids in the Obama/McCain election which saw left wing liberal Obama and conservative right wing McCain. Let's hope next time around we'll have someone who is who they are but has party support as well.
