informative news source is Newsbrief from SRN National News. With
history dating back to 2003, Newsbrief is our flagship news
programme aired live at 6 pm (Eastern) and 8:30 pm each Thursday.
Since its inception,
Newsbrief and its weather update is compiled and presented by Phillip Hong.
Special updates and
weather warnings are also compiled apart from the regular bulletins
on Thursday if needs be. The charm of Newsbrief is to be
as straightforward as possible without the "human interest"
or "entertainment" fodder.
