Inside the main hub for the fictional Canadian Regional Airlines in Toronto
lies an interesting group of airline staff: they process check-in for
passengers on their way.
Over here, we meet new recruit
Mitchell (Mitchey) Ng, who's experience
at the airport so far has been less than appealing. With little knowledge on how
operations work, and faced with a more hostile security checkpoint, Mitchey
quietly weaves through what is otherwise a nightmare to most passengers.
Mitchey is joined with a supervisor who's experience in the industry contrasts
with the relatively fresh recruit.
Tanaka Umeji, a veteran with
Canadian Regional Airlines, has been in the forefront at the airport for
over two decades, bringing a helpful hand to the unusual things that,
fortunately or unfortunately, happen to Mitchey.
The story of new employee Mitchey is supplanted with quirky announcements
on the aircraft (like the airline's support for fishermen in the landlocked
province of Alberta) as well as customers who have interesting stories to
tell, related to the ticket they show to the check-in counters at the hub.
