Tell us about the new CD and tour.
I've Failed You is our latest offering to the metal world, unleashed upon the masses August
30th via E1. It was written over the course of a few months in the winter of 2011, and was
recorded at Beach Road Studios over three weeks in Goderich, Ontario in April and May of this year.
It's a collection of 11 songs about heartbreak, despair and loss, and eventually, acceptance.
We are also hitting the road in support of the new album with Dirge Within and Diamond
Plate, for a six week trek across the US. As always, it should be a great time, and an adventure!

Why the title I've Failed You?
A lot of the subject matter revolves around the idea of unkept promises and failure to hold on to
that which is most precious and beautiful. Feeling like you've let someone down is one of the most
painful things we go through as humans. So the name stems from those feelings, and the remorse that
follows.

How was working with Siegfried "Siggy" Meier?
As always, we had an excellent time working with Siggy on the new record. He has been a fixture in
our lives as both a friend and a producer for ten years now, and going into the studio to create
something beautiful with him is always a very laid back and nurturing experience. I think the final
product of I've Failed You really reflects the great working relationship we have with him.

We Are The Lamb is getting great traction and being the first single; that is so
important. Tell us about the single?
The main riff for We Are The Lamb is actually one of the oldest ideas on the album, and is
something that I'd had stored away in the back of my mind since probably late 2009. I think it is
a really striking song, and represents where we are at musically with this new album. It's a song
about self sacrifice, and someone giving up their life to allow others to continue. It's a very
special song content wise, and also very unique, as Mercedes wrote all of the lyrics to this one.
What is the one track on the CD you ladies are most proud of?
Wow, that really is a tough call! Every song has its special place on the album, and commands its
own type of respect. In terms of performance and speed, I'd say that the title track I've Failed
You is a proud moment, as well as the first single We Are the Lamb, and also What
Have I Done? All beautiful and brutal in their own right, and stand out tracks in my mind.
