Lots of people, tons, in fact, if you piled them up, want to know more about
Restless Johnny Wakeloose, the host and pilot of the Green Room. Here is some
bio information, but it isn't pretty.
Johnny Wakeloose was born Johnny Wakeloose in 1948. He has recovered from
alcoholism, drug addiction, incest, rape, domestic violence, eating disorders,
smoking, impotency, obsessive compulsive behaviors and an addiction to raw red
meat.
His father was Herman Wakeloose, a traveling trombone salesman. His mother was
the former Miss Ticonderoga, who lost her crown in a bar fight. Johnny is one
of their children. The others, however many there might be, changed their names
and left town just after they turned 18.
Johnny always loved radio. As a child, he would listen to the radio late into
the evening, listening to disc jockeys like B. Stylus Sharpwheel and Slippery
Elmo The Beatman. Johnny loved all types of music, including calypso, and once
worked at a calypso club as the host. That's where he honed his skills and got
the label "Restless". The name also came from the fact that at the time, Johnny
battled alcoholism, drug addiction, incest, rape, domestic violence, eating
disorders, smoking, impotency, obsessive-compulsive behaviors and an addiction
to raw red meat.
Johnny loves dogs and once owned fifteen at one time. But they were all
greyhounds and loving to run as they do, they all ran away one day when
they saw a rabbit.

Johnny is a good card player, especially playing Solitaire, which he has
recreated into a four-person game.
Johnny went to collage but had to leave because he battled alcoholism, drug
addiction, incest, rape, domestic violence, eating disorders, smoking,
impotency, obsessive compulsive behaviors and an addiction to raw red meat.
Johnny has had no other jobs outside of being a disc jockey. He worked for many
radio stations, being employed at some as briefly as two hours. Many stations
he worked for made him use other names because they didn't like Restless
Johnny Wakeloose. So, he has gone on the air as Fretless Frankie, Philippino
Phil, Hot Harry, Cold Ken, Creepy Crawford, Sir Enjoyable, Bobby Bunthaven, Abe
The Jerk and Scrapmetal.
Johnny's gig at Network 1KX's Green Room is a godsend for him. He works only
that hour on radio these days, getting a small pension from the United
Assistance Cabal for Those Who Have Battled Alcoholism, Drug Addiction, Incest,
Rape, Domestic Violence, Eating Disorders, Smoking, Impotency, Obsessive
Compulsive Behaviors and an Addiction to Raw Red Meat.
