Any good stories you want to tell us?

Ah one stands out. While in San Francisco for our west coast tour we were at our hotel after the show having a good time in the court yard and wandered up to a room with their door open. In which were 3 dudes, one passed out (which they later told us they rufied him as "joke") and laying on the counter was a specific sex toy starting with a "D" and ending with a "ildo". This obviously turned into a focal point of jokes directed at them and ended up with one of their their mattresses and one of them thrown in the pool. They got kicked out and we went about our business. Long story short.

Who are the band's musical influences?

This is a hard question because we all have such different musical tastes and backgrounds. Collectively, some of our favorite artists are: Refused, Thursday, Finch, Deftones, The Misfits, AFI, Blink 182, Glassjaw and Every Time I Die. In this day and age it seems as though one thing that really makes or breaks an artist in this industry is the level of marketing and promotion they receive from their label. What we really admire about Glassjaw is their recent ability to create such a groundswell without any mainstream promotion. All of the hype for their recent comeback has stemmed from fan sites and blogs and been fed by strategic releases of new songs, EPs and secret shows. Of course it's taken them many years to develop their fan base, but the way they have embraced the current era of the independent artist is very inspiring.

What is your musical background like?

We all come from very different music backgrounds and all have been in bands before, most of them much heavier. All of us have played a variety of instruments before and still try to continue to though we have our main jobs with GPS.

Any other members in your family that are musicians?

Peppered throughout in some cases, and some of us do not have anyone and are paving the way!

What is the top reason why you want to play music?

It's something that moves people and us. Everyone needs emotional outs, this is ours and we want to share it with everyone and have to have the strong effect on them that we remember when we were young kids and going to our first shows so that the fans and the industry continue to support us.

What has been your best show?

I think we all have our favorite ones, but some stand out shows is our CD Release show at the Viper Room, House of Blues shows are definitely a good time as we love big stages to really be able to be active and of course, any show that anyone who reads this comes to whether on this tour, next tour or at home because WE LOVE PLAYING, ANYTIME and ANYWHERE!
