What got this band together and started in this business?
The band you hear on my record is a group of hired hands. Very talented musicians, brought together
to bring my songs to life. The only constant member is my bass player, Brian Kimble. I've always
been a musician, but singing and playing the piano was something I started to do in 2008. I'd been
dancing around the idea for a year or two, but hadn’t really committed myself. Early in the year,
a good friend of mine introduced me to a producer who set me on the path to becoming a
singer/songwriter. He told me to go out and learn to do something other than sing. He said, "There
are a million great voices out there, you need to stand out." So I've made it my mission to do just
that.

Who writes and produces all of your material?
I do. Well, I write it all. As the writer, I of course have a say in the actual production of the
songs. But when it comes to the nitty gritty hard work, I turn to a duo that works magic. Each of
my songs were produced by Chris Jay and Aaron Goldberg. They’re both musicians in the band Army of
Freshman and have lived the industry life - that is to say, they've toured both the US and Europe
with great success. They're both very talented, I couldn't pass them up... and I'm so glad I didn't.

Has you played in front of or with any acts our readers would know from the mainstream?
Only a few. I've opened for Mixi (signed to Geffen) as well as surf guitar legend, Dick Dale. I was
also in a music video with Bonnie McKee a few years ago.
Where can people access your music on the web?
All over the place! I'd say the easiest way to find me is on iTunes; mainly because it's so
mainstream. I'm on Facebook and Myspace and all those fun social networks. And of course, my music
can be heard on my website: www.danielletaylormusic.com.

Any embarrassing moments on stage?
Um, not really. I know that's not scandalous or exciting or anything, but... I take pride in putting
on a good show so, I really try to stay focused and professional.
