Often, I let the public in on some of my personal writings, those thoughts, emotions and entirely fictional writings from my diary. Though it is early in the new year, here are some excerpts from late 2015.

October 4 - Just arrived in Budapest. I am standing in the airport lobby trying to recall why I am arriving in Budapest.

October 6 - I sent a text to my doctor about my loss of memory when arriving in Budapest and he corrected my spelling of the country. I was trying to save characters so my text abbreviated Budapest but my doctor didn't understand the abbreviation, so we had to text one another six times to get one simple message across. Eventually, he told me not to worry about my memory failure. He said it was "just jet lag". So I went to my hotel room and tried to sleep off the jet lag, which threw off the entire schedule, which I remembered the next day.

November 2 - Scully called today to tell me my car's paint job was complete but he could not place the Sagittarius insignia on the gas tank lid as I ordered.

November 4 - I miss Giselle. I can smell her sweet aroma in my kitchen, where we embraced last while she was wearing nothing but an apron. I hope she comes back because she left the clothes she was wearing before she donned the apron and I don't want Lilly to find them.

November 6 - Isn't it Guy Fawkes Day? I hope so or else I am burning this straw-stuffed figure of the man for nothing (and the apartment is filling with smoke).

November 15 - I could have sworn that the fellow that left the phone message cussing my editorial on tired rock stars of the nineteen sixties was Neil Young.

November 17 - Giselle called. She says she loves me more than anyone. I said, "More than you love Lilly?" Then Lilly got on the line and said, "She means she loves it more when you are here with Lilly and I," and I said, "I will be right over." I stopped at the bakery first, though, and bought some pastry to bring with me.

December 1 - It's almost my birthday and I will have to go through my usual birthday trauma because I cannot the awful memories of traveling through the birth canal and struggling to get into the open.

December 13 - I received a bill from a hotel in Budapest. When the hell did I go there?

December 20 - I am thinking about having a binge session, watching every episode of the classic TV series "My Mother The Car".

December 26 - Went to Giselle's for late Christmas dinner with Lilly and some guy I didn't know who was a dead ringer for Jayne Mansfield.
