Here is more text from the works of Confucius, Jr., a man who demanded to be known publicly as the direct ascendant of his namesake, the perennially quoted Chinese philosopher of the Spring and Autumn period in China, in 447 B.C.

The self-named Confucius, Jr. began to publish hundreds of works that were lost in a wave of public disinterest. The works were found only recently in an archeological dig that discovered the burial site of Kong Li, the first child of Confucius.

Do not listen to those who are beastly enough to command you do not listen, unless they whisper.

A superior man is equal to the most inferior one, thus reducing his superiority a great deal.

No jewel is worth its salt if it is made of salt.

Seek not the truth for the truth is within you and no one should perform surgery on his or herself; it's plain unsanitary.

Cover up your jealousy with pride and purge your pride with the strength of a gorilla.

At the end of a day comes darkness, only to be followed by the rising of the sun again, though the difference of the time in between varies from hemisphere to hemisphere.

The Earth will care for itself and tend to the spirit of man with no regard or expectation of longevity, for the Earth is not time and time waits for no one and no planet, so round and round we go and where we stop nobody knows.

Do not complain about your neighbor's property unless it produces the kind of filth that grows into wife-swapping.

...to be continued.
