Rejected fortune cookie forecasts

Not every fortune cookie you open reveals a message that could have been in it. Fortune cookie manufacturers have editors and many messages are rejected for many reasons. Here are some fortunes that were refused for cookie insertion.

A stranger will meet you and you will become friends but beware, he (or she) is actually someone you know but you forgot.

Open your heart to a friends but cover your eyes when talking to them.

Look behind you, now, quick, or be hurt badly.

The wise are rich with wisdom, so get wise.

The day of your success is near. Or, it was yesterday.

Every time you make a friend, another person will become lonely, so make friends to lonely people.

You will never meet a tall, dark stranger so if you do, strike first.

Love is all you can hope for in the coming weeks, which is better than being told you have a fatal disease.

Never play an out-of-tune piano.

It is a good day for you to understand today is all that matters and tomorrow will soon be today.

The sun will shine, the moon will shine, but the sun and moon will never shine together.

Listen to elders for at least a minute.

Dismiss your fears of failure and step ahead towards success, then you will know what it is really like to be scared.

Your car's headlights are on.

When it seems life is weighing you down, someone will lift the burden, someone very, very strong.

Wake up, it's night.

You are stuck in a rut and want to get out. This is a good time to get out of your rut. Become rut-less.

The love of your life is already here. Look closely or you will miss him (her, them).
