Ask Penny Pincher again

No one knows how to save money like Penny Pincher. People everywhere ask her for help and she answers them:

Q: I was cleaning my closet and found a lot of clothing I will never wear again. Are there places to sell used clothing?

A: Yes. If your used clothing is not permanently stained or burned, start a website, take photos of the items and post them with a price. To make prices higher, make up a story about a dead historic figure having worn each item. No one checks but most potential buyers will be impressed.

Q: I have one credit card. Should I get more?

A: Having multiple credit cards is only good if you do not max the cards out. You could have fifty credit cards but what good will they do you if you max them all out? Think about it.

Q: Some people say 300 is a good credit score and other people say a 500 score will work and still others say three 100 scores could equal 800 if you add incorrectly.

A: A good credit score is none of those you mention (and no one adds three credit scores, no less incorrectly). To boost your credit score illegally, try shopping under a false name on The Dark Web.

Q: Are there truly bargains on The Dark Web?

A: That's what I hear, but be careful if you go there - many have not returned.

Q: I am interested in interest. The interesting thing about interest is that interest can be an investment if the interest increases indefinitely.

A: That is interesting and should be immediately investigated.

Q: I grew up poor and became rich. Then I lost it all and became poor. I do not remember how to save money so I can become rich again. Can you help?

A: You could send me ten percent - wait, make that fifty percent - of every new dollar you earn and I will put it in a black box in a safe place and when you have earned enough to be on the brink of richness, let me know and I will send you the black box. The key will cost you, of course.
