GEN X ponders their future

They are members of the "middle child generation", born from 1965 to 1980. We asked some of them how they see a positive future.
 
When baby boomers tell us to shut up we realize the importance of our voices and we use curse words on them.
 
Being a masculine Gen-X guy I realize muscle shirts and drug use are the keys to a brave new world.
 
Being different comes easily if you are naturally different.
 
There's a lot of hope for Gen-X in the future but with no help from corporations that only want to make money off of us, which is tough if they don't give us jobs that make enough money to spend on their s--t...
 
Gen-Xers all feel the same feelings and fear the same fears and are sad and lonely and happy the same ways.
 
There's no way any Gen-Xer can save the world but it would be nice if there was one.
 
If we accept ourselves, we'll find that others will accept themselves as well.
 
Gen-X took social media and turned it into a success. We made it something available to communicate, question and promote progressive change even if it fails.
 
When something becomes normal, we look for something new that will never become normal.
 
No more Beatles.
 
The generation before us were mostly alcoholics and abusers but there is good news; all of them are almost dead.
 
We aspire to inspire but unfortunately that isn't a good paying job.
 
All of our pop-music heroes are bound for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
 
No more Rolling Stones.
 
We'll be all right as long as there are no more movies about Elvis.
