Laws are added regularly in cities around the world. Here are some of the newest passed to date.

In Prague there are fines for spitting on a balloon in flight, sniffing from the mouth of a water bottle in public and hugging near a bakery.

Pittsburgh passed a law requiring people marrying for the first time to learn the Irish Jig.

Ten months is the penalty in Geneva for protesters of any cause if they march in public with a live fowl.

Ohio has stiff fines for tourists laughing while face to face with a funeral director.

Growing plants without being fully aware of their functions is illegal in Johannesburg.

The legal age for bowling in Adelaide was reduced to four-years-old.

Pedestrians mistaken for Podiatrists will be arrested or severely fined in The Hague.

British Columbia newborns must be officially named within 45 minutes of birth unless the name is not approved by everyone present in the maternity ward.

The city of Leipzig banned one-way streets for walking in two directions unless the pedestrian walking can prove there is a specific health reason for walking in an illegal direction.

A person born on an odd number day in Macau must register with the city bureau of identification at a personal cost of an amount to be established later this year in an amendment if the legislation gets around to it.

In London on Sundays it will be unlawful to skip to m'lou in public.

Anyone caught mixing cough medicine with skim milk in Rotterdam will be immediately penalized by going to jail, writing a poem, studying a foreign religion, finding a new city to live, wearing a grass skirt with no intent to perform a hula dance, write the names of at least four professional clowns on the side of a fast food restaurant or all of the above.
