Is the world already over?

Recently a number of think tanks held by near-renowned thinkers have come up with remarkable theories about the ever-predicted end-of-the-world scenarios. The majority of these thinkers agree on one particular concept.

Think-tanker Reginald Pulp says, "We never see the end of the world because the world has already ended. Us think-tankers have many ideas concerning the drama leading to the world's end but we all agree it's over."

Think-tanker Rip O'Rogan says, "We also differ on the date it ended. Some say it was winter in Iceland and others that it was the year Norway won its first Gold Medal at an Olympic event. But we all agree it's over."

Think-tanker Susanne Moskolito says, "It fooled everyone everywhere because we all expected explosions and chariots flying down from some heavenly source. You know, we thought there'd be a performance finale. It doesn't matter. We all agree it's over."

How could I be reporting this if the world is already over?

Think-tanker Francis Belaldersmoldenwicker says, "The vibrations of living things take eons before slowing to a halt. Until the halting begins in all of us all we have is a sort of suspended denial. But we all agree it's over."

"These are - or were - the smartest thinkers in the world," says a major news reporter who insisted his name not be mentioned since he has six kids who are nervous about the world ever ending. "Are they saying that their thinking is correct? Because if they are right then how can they be thinking like they did before the world ended?"

Think-tanker Susanne Moskolito replied to the major news reporter who insisted his name not be mentioned since he has six kids who are nervous about the world ever ending by saying, "Post-world vibrations last longer in smarter people like us think-tankers so it's only natural that right now there are people less smart in denial."
