Mr. Snappy Peppy tries to wash dishes

Everyone knew him as Mr. Snappy Peppy because everything he did was done with one intent - to get done as fast as he could get it done.

For instance:

After week of piling dirty dishes into the sink there was no more room for any more. Mr. Snappy Peppy turned the faucet on and ran a soap-soaked sponge over the top dish on the pile so fast that it fell and hit the kitchen floor and smashed into pieces.

Mr. Snappy Peppy grabbed another dish and while washing it his arm was poked by a knife sticking up in the pile. He ran the sponge over the dish in hand and saw red water in the sink; his arm was bleeding.

Mr. Snappy Peppy grabbed a towel and wiped dripping blood but he did not shut off the faucet and bloody water poured onto the floor. He grabbed another towel and wiped blood on his arm and turned off the faucet.

Then Mr. Snappy Peppy slipped on the puddle in front of the sink and fell on his injured arm. It landed on a piece of shattered dish and caused another slice on his arm. He slipped and slid to get to the bathroom where he placed his arm under the shower, turned it on and watched blood from his arm cover the shower floor.

Then Mr. Snappy Peppy stepped into the shower and tied a washcloth tight around his bleeding arm to stop the circulation. As the bleeding slowed he left the shower. He was soaking wet but put on his jacket and got his wallet and drove to the hospital using one arm (because the injured arm was growing numb from a lack of circulation).

When Mr. Snappy Peppy arrived at the hospital the front desk nurse recognized him.

"You again?" she said, "Okay, Mr. Snappy Peppy. Go into the usual room and I'll get the doctor."
