Reginald Mork was knighted Sir Redundancy for his brilliant essays on many topics. We are honored to have settled a lawsuit allowing us to abstract and publish his writing again since his death in 1965.

It is a waste of time to read editorials; no matter the subject. By definition they are not subjective pieces; they "take place within the mind and are modified by individual bias."

ON POLITICAL POSITIONS
People take political positions because they hope to take sides with a certain ideology. Some people's political positions go left and others go right and others stay in the middle, which is a little of each. Taking a political position feels important to people because importance counts to people.

ON NATIONAL HEALTH CARE
Health is essential in matters of life. Sometimes we are born with health. Other times we are born sick. But not everyone can afford to stay healthy if they are already healthy and not everyone who is not healthy can afford to be treated as they should to get healthy. So there should always be national health care where the sick don't get sicker and the healthy can stay well.

ON RELIGION
Religion includes beliefs. They do not have to be specific; they simply must be believed and have some rules. Religion must have rules to follow or a person cannot be religious. Most of the time religion is not a solo thing; people like to have religion in groups that have the same beliefs.

ON CAREER
A career doing anything is better to have in one's life if it includes a pays off; especifically a money payoff. A good career keeps a person busy but also pays the bills. If it is a successful career then it should do more than pay the bills. It should afford you the kind of wealth that pays for big things like houses and automobiles.
