Going-mobile notes

Now that anyone can listen to SRN One shows on their smartphones, we offer some safety precautions that may save your life while at the same time help you enjoy listening more.

Listening on a mobile unit still requires attention to where you are sitting or walking. Since this is a sound stream and not a video stream, there is no need to look at your mobile device while listening.

You do not have to be in motion while listening, even though you are listening on a mobile device. Mobile devices do not move on their own and are not required to be moving in order to work.

Keep liquids away from your mobile device while listening. If you keep liquids close to your mobile device, even when not using it, liquids of any kind can muck up the machinery. Of course, you should not immerse your mobile device in liquid, so don’t expect to listen to SRN One while playing water polo or swimming and especially not while diving into a large body of water.

Always put the volume of your mobile device on the highest level in order to hear every word of the content being broadcast. Try not to talk to someone else or to two or more people while you are listening.

Clean the face of your mobile device regularly. Use a tissue or a conditioned wipe as is used for optical enforcers, otherwise known as eyeglasses.

If you use the term "optical enforcers" in place of the term "eyeglasses", expect people to say, "What in the heck are optical enforcers?" You can answer by simply using the term "eyeglasses".

The letters "CPU" stand for Central Processing Unit. These units are the individual units that add up to make many units that supply the ability for sound to be streamed, that are sent in bytes, that is, broadcast. When CPUs are not in the quantity needed to handle the collection of bytes for a stream, the sound may “buffer,” that is, stop, that is, delay, that is, go silent. When the sound returns, due to CPU usage once again becoming available at the proper amount needed, the routine may continue until you are thoroughly frustrated.

Have patience, technology is progressing at such a quick rate that soon the letters CPU may mean Connect Program Undiluted, whereby you will hear it no matter what.

Using headphones on both ears tends to block all other sounds. You should not flood both ears with any mobile phone sounds. But using one ear only can cause you to walk leaning to the left or right and losing your balance. If you lose your balance you may fall and that can cause injury to you, no less bust your mobile device. If you bust your mobile device you cannot bring it to be repaired; you will have to buy a new mobile device. If you do not buy a new mobile device, you will not be able to listen to any of the SRN One programming and move about.

There are a lot of other mobile notes we could offer but they are far too technical to give a rolling donut about. Enjoy.
