Okay, forget about the tests. None of this matters if I cannot tolerate her
politics because that's all she cares about other than the perfume she sprays
so gently over her chest. She is obsessed with this campaign to get the
government off of our backs. Hell, I would say to her, if you were the
government, I wouldn't mind you being on my back. But could she hear that as a
plea to surrender to her calefacient presence?
|
  |
If she would just give me half a chance I would prove to her that no other man
could climb the Empire State Building for her as I could and that my liberal
thoughts could set her desires free, like a swan in a white-water rafting race.
She wouldn't have to stop making fun of the President or the Democrats. I don't
care. I just don't want a wall between us because I voted for Obama and I want
to sock Newt Gingrich in the jaw.

They say never argue politics or religion but they don't say never argue that
you can be satisfied as a man with a woman if she won't vote to extend
unemployment benefits. So there is a chance I can get to Michele in a way that
only a man who once had strong Mafia ties could get to her.

This is not just a fleeting crush or an obsession. This is genuine affection
that emanates from a man's gut, where masculinity is borne and where Adam
gladly bites the apple for the woman he loves. Oh, yes, I am not afraid to make
a Biblical reference. I know Michele would be proud of me. I am happy to mention
names like Job, especially in a country with so much Joblessness [sic].
|
  |
If I am realistic, however, I know that I am not good enough for Michele. And
I know that my disregard for politics is something she would scorn. So what
chance do I have with her?
|
  |
None.
|
  |
The matter is over. I give up.

  |
As Longfellow wrote in a poem of lost love, "Heights by great men reached and
kept were not obtained by sudden flight but, while their companions slept, they
were toiling upward in the night."
|
  |
Now that I read that, however, I realize it doesn't pertain to my problem at all.
