What got this band together and started in this business?
|

|
b.rich: Like any good band Downsiid started for the fun and love of the music, as time goes
by it became a nonstop passion with the pursuit of something greater. To be on top of the world.
|

Who writes and produces all the material for the band?
|
| |
|
b.rich: Our music is written by all band members. We collectively put our ideas together to
release our best material. Hooks and big choruses are a must for us in Downsiid. Our latest album,
Life of Lies, was produced by legendary producer/guitarist for Halford, Roy Z (Halford, Judas
Priest, Sebastian Bach and many more).

Has the band played in front of or with any acts our readers would
know from the mainstream?

b.rich: We've been blessed to share the stage with many mainstream bands suchs as: Nonpoint,
Drowning Pool, Tantric, Adema, Primer 55, Achored, Burn Halo, Framing Hanley, Rehab, Swisha House,
Flyleaf and many more.

Where can people access your music on the web?

b.rich: Fans can access our music from iTunes, Zune, Rhapsody or any other music sites. As
of October we released our old records as well as our new records, so we encourage to get the whole
catalog and collect them all.

Any embarrassing moments on stage?
|
| |
|
Most embarrassing moment... wow, here it goes. A few years ago we were touring throughout Georgia
and Florida and we ended up in Columbus, Georgia for a night. We were blessed to have a full club
and we were ready to hit the stage. A particular band member at the time which we will call "Member
X", decided to get drunk on the loading docks. No one saw this occurring. We hit a quick line
check and we all notice he was beyond drunk! Now what do we do? Go on? Or get off stage?

As good musicians, "the show must go on". Bad idea! "Member X" was climbing our amps.. out of tune
and everything else you can imagine that would go wrong. Complete trainwreck. To top it of he falls
off the stage with a monitor wrapped wround his ankles and breaks them. Just hurts just telling
this story haha.. thus why this member is not with us anymore.. so we move on.
