I was in Paris recently when I learned that the search for Amelia Earhart is over. The surprise to me, of course, is that I thought it had ended years ago.
 
 
We were playing the Northern California Blues Festival at a large park and the power generator ran out of fuel in the middle of our opening song. All that kept going were the drums; the rest of us were standing there looking at 3000 people.
 
Can lawmakers who don't have the courage or intelligence to outlaw texting while driving really be expected to create a saner tax structure? Hmmm.
 
 
I live to be on stage. The rush that comes from performing in front of a crowd of people that are there to listen to you is empowering and a massive confidence booster!
