Every once in a while, regardless of how we feel, our guts tell us to take a stand on something.
This gut feeling is deep and sometimes mistaken for indigestion but when it doesn't go away after a
full bottle of Pepto Bismol we understand it entirely.

In 1985, we were young kids who wanted to write and perform music. We decided to start 7th heaven.
We all come from different background. When we get together we create our own kind of soup of
inspiration that creates our sound.

To be honest man I stumbled upon the whole artist thing... it kind of just worked. I hated how
people sounded on my beats (starting as a producer) and literally just "gave singing and rapping
a shot"... people took well to it and BAM!

A mutual friend of BJ and Shontez paired the two up, because he knew they had similar interests
and they were talented and easy going. Kyle was introduced when BJ's mom offered his services to
us, "Because he was just sittin' in the basement... haha"

I write everything, I'll admit I have brainstorming sessions with the crew and even Big Mike about
things to talk about but I really take pride in writing my own lyrics.
